IDASONIC Electrospinning System – Lab model has been designed on a lab scale to produce nanofibers that are widely used in industries such as filtration, textile manufacturing, medical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical manufacturing and composites technology.
Electrospinning is one of the most frequently used technique to produce polymer nanofibers. The main components of an electrospinning system are syringe for loading polymer solution, a syringe pump for polymer feeding, a spinneret (a metal needle), a high voltage power supply, and a collector. During the formation of nanofiber in the electrospinning process, the polymer solution is fed through spinneret(s) with the help of syringe and syringe pump, and then the electric field deforms the polymer solution and directs to the grounded collector by means of high voltage applied between the spinneret(s)-collector.
This model has been designed on a lab scale to produce nanofibers that are widely used in industries such as filtration, textile manufacturing, medical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical manufacturing and composites technology. This system can be updated according to the demands of the customers in different configurations for different research areas and much more, on a pilot and industrial scale.
