IdaPulse

IdaPulse® is IDASONIC’s ultrasonic dispersion technology developed to maintain stable, homogeneous suspensions during liquid delivery, particularly for nano- and micro-particle based formulations used in advanced coating and nanofiber production processes.

In ultrasonic spray coating and electrospinning, even well-prepared suspensions can suffer from particle sedimentation and agglomeration during liquid feeding. These effects often lead to coating defects, non-uniform film thickness, nozzle clogging, fiber inconsistencies, and poor process reproducibility.

IdaPulse® addresses these challenges by applying non-contact ultrasonic acoustic coupling directly to the liquid delivery system, ensuring active dispersion throughout the entire process—without direct liquid contact, contamination, or dead volume.

IdaPulse® Ultrasonic Dispersion Technology

Why Active Ultrasonic Dispersion Matters

During spray coating and electrospinning, unstable suspensions can cause:

  • Non-uniform coating thickness or fiber morphology
  • Particle-rich or particle-depleted regions
  • Nozzle clogging and process interruption
  • Drift in process quality during long runs

IdaPulse® actively stabilizes the suspension inside the syringe, ensuring consistent material delivery from the start to the end of the process.

IdaPulse® Product Family

All IdaPulse® models share the same dispersion principle and application purpose. The differences between models are based on syringe capacity and process continuity, allowing users to select the most suitable configuration for their workflow.
